I have a scenario where Phone Authentication is already configured as the identity verification method. I’m now looking to enable IAL2 (ID Verification) as well.
When sending an eSignature envelope to a recipient, is it possible to require the signer to complete Phone Authentication first and then IAL2 verification as part of the same signing process?
If this is not supported, what is the recommended or best-practice approach for handling scenarios where a higher level of identity assurance is required?
Thank you.

Hello @sgajjelly
Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! We appreciate your question and assure you that we are fully committed to providing you with the best service possible.
It appears that you cannot combine Phone Authentication and IAL2 ID verification for the same recipient. You may put the same signer on the envelope twice for Phone Authentication and the other for IAL2 verification, but we don’t highly recommend it. Because it could not be a good experience for the signer.
