Can I replace the form's template instead of creating a new form?

Hello, I need to make a change to the template for a form.

Am I able to replace the existing template in the form? Or do I need to create a new form altogether?

I’ve done some tests, and it looks like all the fields that were created are lost when the template is replaced.

Just to clarify, the template is the document (XLSX, PDF, DOCX) that we use as the basis for the DocuSign form. As always, thank you for your time and orientation. Salvador
