Allowing Signer to Choose TSP Provider for Qualified Signature

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to allow the signer to choose the TSP (Trust Service Provider) when signing with a qualified electronic signature. Currently, the sender must select a specific provider in advance.

Our scenario involves adding recipients from different countries, and in many cases, we do not know the exact TSP provider they have. Is it possible to allow the sender to specify only the type of signature (e.g., qualified or simple electronic) and let the signer select the exact provider during signing?

Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ​@Konstantina—Great timing! This feature you need is included in the December release 👉 Docusign eSignature 25.4.00.00 Release Notes: December 2025

 As part of the Docusign ID Verification Premier add-on, we added a new signature type called “EU QES”. The Signature Type “EU QES” enables a more streamlined process for our customers by allowing recipients to select their preferred trust service provider (TSP) as part of the agreement completion.

You must be an Administrator to provision the new feature: Open the Admin page and go to the Signature type section. Once provisioned, as a Sender, you will be able to select the new EU QES options from the Signature dropdown menu. Once configured, your Recipients will be able to choose from these trust service providers (TSP) to complete the QES agreement:

If the recipient does not have an account with any of the TSPs, they can select ID Document which will require them to complete the Docusign ID Verification for EU Qualified process.
