I understand that you are looking to edit a recipient’s name on behalf of another user, and I will share the available options to accomplish your goal.

In this scenario I would suggest you look into our Shared Access feature. With Shared Access an account administrator can provide you with access to another user’s envelopes.

This can be configured in Settings>Users>Actions>Manage Shared Access>Share Access with Others.

Note: Some advanced features and options are supported only in certain Docusign plans. Your account plan might not support some options discussed in this help topic.
