I understand the recipient's request to add a note to the document you sent. I'll be more than happy to assist you!

You can correct the in-progress envelope and add a standard text box for the recipient's note, or if your account Administrator enabled comments to the envelopes sent from the account, the signer can post a comment.  If you'd like the note to be visible in the completed document, then the text box is the one I'd recommend.
