I needed to send out a Docusign waiver to families. Signatures are on top of each other, I guess they were not private and everyone is seeing the same document and signors. What do I need to do to correct this or what did I do wrong?

You've encountered a common error where recipients saw overlapping signatures because they were not assigned to individual documents or files. To correct this, you must send each family member their own individual envelope with the correct document visibility settings, which requires correcting the existing envelope to remove incorrect signers and Voiding and resending the envelope with new, separate instances.
You likely sent all families the same envelope and the same document without setting Document Visibility to restrict access. DocuSign automatically limits access to documents only to recipients with fields assigned to that particular file. Therefore, when you put all of the families' names in the same envelope, they all had access to every document and signature.
How to Fix It

1. Correct the Envelope:
- Go to the Agreements tab and locate the in-progress envelope you want to correct.
- From the action menu, select "Correct".
- You can now remove incorrect signers and edit the recipient information.

2. Send Separate, Private Envelopes:
- For each family, create a new envelope.
- Add the family's name and then use the Document Visibility settings to assign only the relevant document to them.
- Ensure that each family member has a unique signature field assigned to the specific document they are meant to sign.

3. Void the Problematic Envelope:
- After sending out the corrected, separate envelopes, void the incorrect one.
- This process will prevent further signatures from being added and finalize the incorrect version.
