Question

Accessing older signed documents

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

I have a document that I need to access that is a few years old. I tried clicking on the link that was sent and it says the link is old and they will send a new link to access the document. I dont know where they are sending the link. I think I did the signature when I was at work for a previous company. The document is a personal lease agreement that I need a copy of.

Hello @Alvin.Clark

Thank you for reaching out here in the Docusign Community. Welcome to the Docusign Community and thank you for posting your concerns!

If you are the sender of this particular document you are looking for, as long as you have not deleted it from your Docusign account, you can still access it when you log in to your account.

You can also use the steps from this link to access the document.

Use a Security Code to access Docusign documents.

Alternately you can ask for a copy from the Sender if you did not create the envelope.

Let us know if you need further assistance with this.

Thank you Rodolfo,

I am the sender, but the problem is that I’m pretty sure I did it when I was logged into my former job’s account. I havent worked there in about 2 years, but now I cannot log back in to the account with those credentials. I do however  have a link for the lease agreement, but I’m unable to access it that way. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @Alvin.Clark

The document can only be accessed using the emails associated on it.

If this was sent originally to your former job email the, link is being sent to that email.

If you no longer have access to that email your options are reaching out to the sender and request a copy or request to your former job if they can reactivate your email temporarily.
