API - returned envelope, optional field NOT signed confirmation

Through DocuSign Connect, can I determine if a specific optional field was not signed within one of the envelope’s documents upon completed eSignature? Is there any indicator in the returned JSON?

Yes, it's possible. If you include the tab values in the Connect payload, all the filled-in tabs will be included. If an optional tab isn't returned, it means the recipient didn't fill it in.
