Is there a way to replace an agreement in agreement manager

Thank you for reaching out to Docusign Community, and I’ll be glad to help! I understand that you would like to replace an existing agreement in Agreement Manager with a fully executed version that was signed outside of Docusign.

Unfortunately, Agreement Manager does not currently support replacing an existing agreement in place with an externally executed version.

The practical workflow is to:

1. Upload the fully executed document as a new agreement.
2. Delete the prior version, if appropriate.
3. Reapply any required metadata, tags, or agreement-set assignments.

Agreement Manager’s deduplication may skip an exact duplicate, but a newly signed version will generally be treated as a different document.

A dedicated Replace option is currently not available, but you may submit this functionality request for future enhancement through the Docusign Idea Dashboard. That’s where ideas from Docusign users like you can submit ideas to improve Docusign’s features, and where you can also vote on ideas from other members.
