The system looks at various activity patterns, including account usage and recipient information, to determine whether an envelope may require additional security review. This automated process is designed to help ensure that envelopes being sent through Docusign originate from legitimate sources and to protect both senders and recipients from potentially fraudulent activity.

When an envelope is flagged, it does not necessarily mean that fraudulent activity has occurred. it means that the system has identified activity that may require further assessment based on the security criteria.

Thanks @Noralynn.Niduaza. Knowing what activity specifically triggered this activity is important. If it continues, I’d be better off reverting to emailing PDFs for signature.  We have used Docusign for many years to boost credibility and trust, but this recent activity has eroded our ability to secure contracts.
