Migrating envelopes across regions: Is it a compliance requirement

Question

I understand that envelope migration across regions is currently not supported in Docusign. Since DocuSign is migrating its infrastructure to Azure, I would like to know whether cross-region envelope migration is planned as a future feature.

Or is this something that Docusign does not intend to support because of compliance, data residency, or regulatory requirements?
