How to Automatically Send a Custom Report through email

Wondering how to automatically schedule a report to send to a party with a CSV attached. For example, sending an executed contract list monthly to the finance department. I dont see the schedule option when the report was created.

 I understand you’d like to set up an automatic monthly report (for example, a CSV of executed contracts) to be sent to your finance department. Here’s an easy explanation of how it works — and some reasons why you might not be seeing the “Schedule” option:

In Docusign, you can schedule reports to run automatically and send via email (with a link or CSV) to recipients. For example: Go to Reports → pick a standard or custom report → select Schedule → set how often, who gets it, and start date. You can also review active/inactive schedules later.

Why You Might Not See the “Schedule” Option?

Here are some possible reasons:

  • Your user role or permissions don’t include “schedule reports” access.
  • The report you created is not a standard/custom report type that supports scheduling (some may be view-only).
  • The schedule capability may not be enabled for your account or subscription level.
  • You’re looking at a view where the “View → Schedule” menu isn’t showing because of the filter/settings.
  • The DocuSign interface or version you’re using may differ slightly (e.g., the “Schedule” option is hidden under a dropdown).
