Can’t Create or Access Templates – Urgent Help Needed

Hi everyone,

I’m suddenly unable to create new templates or open any of my existing ones in DocuSign. Every time I click Templates I either get a blank screen or an error message saying the feature isn’t available. This makes it impossible for me to keep using the platform, because I need to send contracts to a large group of people today.

Has anyone run into the same issue?
If you found a solution—or even a temporary workaround—I’d really appreciate your advice.

Details that might help:

  • Plan type: Free Trial

  • Browser & version: Chrome

  • Steps I’ve tried so far: clearing cache, logging out/in, switching browsers, and restarting my computer.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I’m on a deadline and this feature is the simplest way for me to distribute contracts!

The plan type “Free trial” only has a limited number of envelopes included and a time limit on the account itself in order to evaluate Docusign eSignature before committing to a paid plan.

This contradicts your statement that you “need to send contracts to a large group of people”. There is also a limits on the number of recipients per envelope in a free trial, which apply to templates and sending an envelope with a template.
