problems with checkboxes in templates, unexpected and unexplainable behaviour

We are having several problems without explanation with docgen templates.

We have checkbox groups and also individual checkboxes losing its “required” condition when users receive the contract to sign, and in the template we have set the field the validation with select at least 1 and we see it al the time with the correct validation.

It happens so randomly that we are investing a lot of time without any way of solution. Could anybody help, it’s really frustrating

Can you please clarify? When you say the checkbox is “losing its required condition,” do you mean that the recipient is able to skip the checkbox group entirely and still complete the envelope without selecting any option?

By default, checkboxes are required fields, so recipients should not be able to finish without selecting at least one box. If possible, could you share a copy of the template (with any personal or sensitive information removed) so we can review the setup and check what might be causing the issue?
