He’s one of our most active and appreciated members—Hengfeng is among the top five contributors in the Community 🙌

We sat down with him to learn more about how he uses Docusign, what he’s solving for customers, and why helping others in the Community matters so much to him.

👋 Could you explain what you and your team do?

We are partners of Docusign, Okta, and SentinelOne. We help companies integrate these platforms into their business systems and provide localized, efficient daily support along with API/SDK integration consulting services. Our goal is to help customers get the most out of these products.

🧩 What challenges are you helping solve with Docusign?

We help customers automate contract workflows, speed up transactions, ensure compliance, and minimize manual errors. As businesses grow globally, they often have questions about local regulations, like whether basic eSignatures are legally valid in new markets, or when digital signatures or seals are required. We help them navigate that complexity and configure their setup to stay compliant and efficient.

💬 What Docusign topics can Community members come to you for help with?

I’m always happy to help with:

• Troubleshooting (e.g., registration issues, account suspensions, email delivery problems)

• API/SDK integration (like embedded signing or error debugging)

• Compliance questions (such as Brazilian TSP integrations)

• Workflow setup guidance

🛠 What’s your top tip for someone new to Docusign?

• Admins: start with the Admin Guide and test in the demo environment to learn the product boundaries and legal considerations.

• Developers: begin with the QuickStart projects and dig into the code samples—they cover most business needs.

And while Docusign’s documentation is thorough, real-world best practices often come from experience. That’s where partner consulting can make all the difference.

⭐ Favorite Docusign feature?

The overall signing experience is incredibly smooth—it’s one of the reasons Docusign leads the market. A standout for me is the TSP integration. It lets customers manage signature compliance across multiple countries through a single interface, instead of contacting each country’s TSP individually. 

Other favorites: automatic seal signing (executives love it!) and the Connect Webhook for real-time updates.

🏆 A proud Docusign moment?

We support some of the largest enterprises in APAC. One customer sends over 600,000 envelopes a year and faces many edge cases—we helped them navigate it all. Another customer fully integrated Docusign into their middleware platform across every department within two years. That set the stage for fast international expansion and growing envelope volumes. It’s incredibly rewarding to support mutual growth like that.

🔍 Any tools or features you’re excited to explore next?

We’re tracking new releases closely. One exciting feature is IAM’s license management, which allows assigning Unmanaged Participant Licenses to Part 11 users who need SSO but don’t send envelopes, which saves on licensing costs. We’re also eager to test Agreement Desk, which we believe could be a game-changer for SMEs. We’ve already applied for the beta to bring it to customers early.

📚 How do you stay current with new features and best practices?

We’ve earned both the Docusign Administrator and eSignature Technical Consultant certifications. On top of that, we read release notes, browse the Community weekly, and attend webinars. As a partner, staying in sync with product evolution is essential for helping customers get the most out of Docusign.
