Hello, all!

 

I have created a Workflow Overview report in my Docusign CLM environment. This report is for a rolling date of 1 day and should show results where the Status is Failed. In most instances, this works, but some failed workflow instances are not returning on the report (even with an increase in the date range). Are there any reasons why this might be the case?

 

In looking at the Docusign Support documentation for Workflow Overview Reports, I see that “ workflow] reports include only workflows that contain human steps,” but my workflow contains several human steps. We have even tried modifying the workflow to include a human step BEFORE the point of failure, but the failed instance is still not returning on the report.

 

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Given that your workflow does contain human steps and you’ve already tested with modifications, one thing to check is whether you're currently using the "Workflow Overview" report or the "Workflow Step" report.

The "Workflow Step" report typically provides more granular and accurate data regarding each step within the workflow, including their status. It’s often better suited for identifying failed instances at a specific step level.

Could you please confirm if you’ve tried using the Workflow Step report instead? This might give you a clearer picture of where the failure occurred and ensure that all relevant instances are being captured.
