Setting a submitter name in CLM 'Send for Signature'

Yes, you can achieve this by using the "Submitted By" variable within the workflow. This variable is automatically generated by the workflow engine and captures the email address of the user who submitted or initiated the workflow request. You can take “Email” or you can save it in “Text” type variable and use it.

By referencing this variable in the "From" field at the Send for Signature step, the emails will correctly reflect the actual submitter as the sender moving forward.

Thank you for the detail.  I did add the email option under the ‘Send and Received’ section of the external signature ‘From’ but it failed with the below message.

Action failed with exception, returned: Must specify one sending user.. Reference ID: d515f72a-a2cb-4f30-99b4-4c5f60cd93dc. Inst: 152278 '86366ca8-b2cd-4a46-833d-000fa712f3b0'.

Could you please provide a snapshot of the step configuration for the Send for Signature action? There could be several reasons for this error, and having a look at the setup will help in identifying the specific cause more accurately.

I may have figured it out via the expression option in the ‘From’ section.  I am testing now to see but if there are still issues, I will let you know.  Thank you for your help!
