Hi all,

I have created a workflow to upload a document and assign a Task to the submitter. How can I setup a daily email reminder until the submitter uploaded the document?

Thank you.

Hello @sgreer

Welcome to the Docusign Community!

Which step type are you using in the workflow to create/assign the Task?

Thanks!

Hi @Pawan Gangwani - thinking the tag should have been for @Christian.Antonio ?

Hi @Christian.Antonio

It depends on what step you are using but in general you can use the Due Date or Reminder option. In my case a generally use the Reminder step and link the reminder output to an Email step. Please check the attached image.

As you can see I have created a draft to use as an example. I added the Reminder 1, then linked the output to Email step that will send out email to the user. Let me know in case you have questions.

@chsjunior Thanks for your reply and illustration.

I have a few questions:

  • Based on screenshot, will an email send out every week until the ‘Create or Update Doc 1’ action is completed?
  • Is the arrow from ‘Email 1’ to ‘Create or Upload Doc 1’ necessary?

@Christian.Antonio  the frequency of the reminder depends on your preference. In this example I selected 1 week and indeed, the reminder email will be sent out every week because I selected that this is a recurring reminder (check the check box option). About the arrow from Email 1, it is not needed indeed. You can remove it.
