CLM document

We have created webforms and powerforms that will allow uploads of docx, etc. files, then a call to a workflow is kicked off automatically.  The only issue is that when you use either of those, it automatically adds .pdf on the document after the extension that is already there.

Does anyone know if there is a way for a non-CLM licensee to get a docx into CLM or a CLM WF?
