Is it possible to make a witness signature optional on a form.

Thank you. Although the witness still has to enter their “Occupation” and Address” information into the fields, I do see that they can just click the “Finish” button without signing.

Thank you, this answers my question. Much appreciated.

@Maria313

First off, good day to you. I hope all is well. In the same way when creating a regular eSignature envelope, the witness signature field should also give you the option to “uncheck” the required field checkbox.

When you have this unchecked, the witness will be able to open the envelope and just select finish to complete the process of the envelope. History of the envelope will also display that the document has been witnessed. I hope that this helps, and please feel free to reach back out if you have any further questions.
