How to I add in the Place Fields option as it’s missing atm:

 

Hi there - it appears that you used the ‘Link Template’ option when creating the template in Salesforce.  When you do that, you have to go to DocuSign to place fields.  You only see the Place Fields tab in Salesforce if you create the template from scratch in Salesforce using Create-New.   


Thank you. Although the Docusign account is linked to SF, the templates I’m using in SF are not visible in Docusign. 


Yes, that is always the case, but how you initially created the Template in Salesforce determines the behavior.   If you use Link Template, and select a Template that already exists in DocuSign, the Place Fields option will not be available in Salesforce.   The only way to place fields is within DocuSign or within each envelope as you are sending them.   If you want to Place Fields within Salesforce, you have to click the Create Template button, upload a document and basically start from scratch with adding all fields.
