eSignature for Salesforce - Deployment process

Question

I am new to DocuSign admin, but our eSignature solution uses apex toolkit to automate the generation and sending of DocuSign envelopes. To deploy the solution to production, the apex class could be deployed, but  would the DocuSign Envelope Template have to be recreated in production manually?
