I’ve set up a template for our team to use, and have placed restrictions on the pre-fill fields so that they can;’t be modified by the team members.
What we need to do is stop them for being able to add new fields to the template document. Is there a setting that can take this option away for them?

Thank you for reaching out here in the Docusign Community.
There is an option that the creator of the template can set to restrict users from editing, or better said, continuing to the preparation screen of the template. This option would still allow the users to add any needed recipients but won’t be able to add or remove fields.
The feature is called “Template Usage Options”, it has three options and according to what you described the “Quick send only” would suit your needs. You can find this by going to the template tab > Edit > Advanced Options. For more information, please view the following article: Template Usage Options
