Hello,

I am trying to upload few templates, but I am getting an error of the templates size which should not be more than 25 MB.

How can I upload templates of sizes more than 25 MB?

Hello @Moon16

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! We appreciate your question and assure you that we are fully committed to providing you with the best service possible.

I understand you were getting an error uploading a few templates, and you would like to upload templates of sizes more than 25 MB. I can imagine how frustrating this must be, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

The reason for this is that a hard cap exists of less than 25MB per document. Any attempt to upload a file over this limit results in an error. Docusign recommends restricting your file uploads to no more than 5 MB. More here: File Size Limitations for an Envelope

Alternatively, you can print the document as a new PDF to reduce the file size. You can do this by opening the file in either program, going to File > Print, and selecting Adobe PDF or Foxit PDF as the printer. Choose the option to Shrink to Printable Area and click Ok. Remember that if you have active form fields in your document, they will be flattened. Detailed instructions can be found here.

If you have a Docusign enhanced plan, please open a Support case so a dedicated team can check if the request to increase the file size limit is possible.

To open a support case in the Docusign Support Center, go to the "Get Support" section and select "Open a Support Case.” Log in using your Docusign credentials and select a case subject. If you have multiple Docusign accounts, choose the appropriate account to continue. Open a case in the Docusign Support Center.

Note: Some advanced features and options are supported only in specific Docusign plans. Your account plan might not support some of the options discussed in this help topic. Contact your account administrator for more information about which options are available for your account. Or, visit our Plans and Pricing web page for more details on the features included with your plan. Compare eSignature plans & pricing.

Let us know if you need further assistance.
