Hi there, 

I am testing now for a client using a trail account an Oracle HCM (Journeys) - DocuSign Integration.

Things should be pretty easy according to Oracle documentation Configure Electronic Signature Using DocuSign in Journeys (oracle.com) however I can’t male these 2 custom fields work.

They say in the link above quoting ‘6. Enter the custom fields for Company and Title (mapped to Legal Employer and Assignment Name respectively in HCM) as ORA_LEGAL_ENTITY and ORA_JOB_TITLE respectively. Optionally, you can add a text box with custom text or checkbox and other standard fields that DocuSign offers in the document. However, note that there aren’t any delivered mapping to fields in HCM.’

My questions are:

  • given this is a standard integration should I expect to find in search these 2 custom fields ORA_LEGAL_ENTITY and ORA_JOB_TITLE when I search in the custom fields area? or should I create these 2 custom fields?
  • if i am to create them is there a way I can make them to pull the details ref legal entity and job title from Oracle HCM

If my understanding is correct I should be able to to use at least these 4 Oracle HCM attributes in the signed document: Full Name, Email, Legal Employer, and Job Title.

In other words my expectation was if I add these 2 custom fields ORA_LEGAL_ENTITY and ORA_JOB_TITLE to a Template for them to auto-polulate with details from Oracle HCM.
