Hello everyone, I am working as a programmer at a technology company and have the opportunity to work on a separate project with a client, Terus. This order is still normal, but there is a requirement from my client, Terus, that I must use eSignature API for some of their automatic functions. I have never approached eSignature API before in a learning environment. I accidentally searched and saw that everyone shared about eSignature API on the forum, so I want to ask everyone where to start learning?

I also talked to Terus and they accepted that I did not know how to use it and told me to learn and complete the related functions at the end. Realizing that this is a good opportunity to gain more knowledge and serve my customers, I want to come here to ask to find a suitable path for my studies and work.

Thank you everyone for reading my question, I hope everyone will respond and share experiences.

Hi Tom,

I’d suggest the best place to start from is this - https://developers.docusign.com/docs/esign-rest-api/.

  1. Get a Docusign developer account
  2.  Start playing with the API from Postman
  3. There are SDKs available for multiple examples to make a “Quick Start” - https://developers.docusign.com/docs/esign-rest-api/sdks/

Hello Tom,

I would recommend for you this plan so you can successfully finish your project.

1-start by learning the concepts of eSignature through this link: https://developers.docusign.com/docs/esign-rest-api/esign101/concepts/

2-after having a clear understanding about the product you can go ahead for the available SDKs here :

https://developers.docusign.com/docs/esign-rest-api/sdks/

3-and through this link you can learn how to do specific calls as per requirements of your project : https://developers.docusign.com/docs/esign-rest-api/how-to/

this link is also helpful for you as a reference for each part of your API calls: https://developers.docusign.com/docs/esign-rest-api/reference/

Thank you so much and if you need any help you can raise a support case anytime at https://support.docusign.com
