Signing/Viewing Order

Question

Is it possible to have all parties view the DocuSign once it is sent but still have a signing order. Ex: I send out a docusign for three people; Can all three people view the docusign at the same time, but only person 1 would be able to sign.

Yes it is possible if you set up the envelope correctly.

A recipient can only view the documents once they appear in the signing order. So what you'll need to do is add all the recipients twice, once as Receives a Copy and a second time as Needs to Sign.

You can add all three recipients in signing order 1 as Receives a Copy. Then add the recipients again with Needs to Sign using signing order 2, 3, and 4 in the order you want them to sign.

When the envelope is sent, all will get a notification and can view the document because they received the document in order 1.

Then the requests for signature will go out one at a time in your specified order.
