Hello,

I want to simply open a document from our network, sign it and leave it there for others to process further. Is this possible in an easy way?

You might look into creating a PowerForm for that document, which would make signing it as easy as clicking on a hyperlink and filling in your name and email address, and you’ll be then brought into the signing ceremony.  PowerForms are created from existing eSignature templates you have on your account, so subsequent recipients can be built into the template and then notified after you’ve finished signing.  Here’s some more information on that if you’d like to check it out: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=jbx1643062255110&topicId=uqn1578456644428.html&_LANG=enus

Outside of that, you can simply download the document and send it in an envelope to yourself to sign it.
