Hi,

I need to validate QES placed via DocuSign in an agreement, before signing by me. How can I check if the placed signature is the QES? I wanted to check it in Acrobat Reader but the program does not recognise neigher the issuer (wydawca) nor the subject (temat). How do I know if a signing person has used QES?

@Iwona

DocuSign eSignature offers the ability to sign with a qualified electronic signature (QES). There are various ways on how to perform a QES signature, but all of them are only possible through an add-on. Without the add-on all signatures will be standard electronic signatures and not qualified electronic signatures

The sender can specify which signature type they require from their signers and they are only able to perform this. If they signed with a QES, you can verify this in DocuSign eSignature while signing and the DocuSign frame is also different to display the higher signature type. In Adobe Acrobat Reader there will be a personal digital certificate for each signer that has signed with a QES in the completed document.

Your screenshot only shows the DocuSign platform seal, which is applied to all documents that are downloaded from the DocuSign platform. Tere are no additional digital certificates of the signers, which means this document has not been signed with a QES.
