Second signature only for certain users?

Dear community,

today we noticed that for some colleagues it is possible to add a second signature in their account with the same name and for others not. For the latter, the system only offers the option of replacing the existing signature. 
All colleagues have the same authorizations and work with the same DocuSign license (volume account).

In our test system, it is possible for all colleagues to add additional signatures to their own user without any problems.
I have compared all user authorizations in the test and live system and they are identical.
What could be the reason for this?

Here are the steps on how to add another signature on a profile.

  1. Select your profile image and go to Manage Profile.
  2. Click on Signatures.
  3. Select ADD SIGNATURE to create a new signature.
  4. In the signature dialog box, enter your name and initials, and choose one of the following options:
  • CHOOSE: Select any of the preformatted signature styles.
  • DRAW: Create a freehand drawing of your signature and initials.
  • UPLOAD: Upload your own signature and initial image.
  1. Finally, select CREATE to accept the new signature.

You can repeat these steps to add multiple signatures.

Also if you receive a document to sign that had a different name from what is saved on your signature, it will also trigger a new signature to be created.

thank you very much for your reply! We are familiar with this procedure. The problem is that it works for certain users and not for others. As mentioned, all users have the same authorizations.

Kindly check if the affected users are correctly signed in using the correct account. 

Most of the users issue they have another account setup using the same email that is on a trial or free account which is why they can’t get the appropriate entitlements.

You may advise the affected user’s to follow the steps provided in the link below.
