Receiver has a security issue accessing the portal

A document is sent for e-signature to a person, and when this person try to access the portal he gets the following message:

“The information you are going to send is not safe Because this form is being sent through a non -safe connection, the information will be visible to other users.”

So he cannot access the document and sign it? What to do?

I’m sorry to hear that your signer is unable to access the document, I understand they are getting an error when they try to.

 

Unfortunately, that error is a browser error and not a DocuSign one.

 

Please try the below troubleshooting:

 

  • Clear cache/cookies
  • Try a different browser(s)
  • Try an Incognito window
  • Try a different device
  • Confirm your Bowser is up to date
  • Try a different Internet network, such as on a mobile device using data with Wi-Fi disabled.
  • Try using VPN, or if on one already, disconnect from VPN and try again
  • Please try the Alternative Signing Method: Use a Security Code to access documents
