I was trying to sign a document sent by notary but it systematically fails. It seems that my Danish passport is not properly recognized. I have tried many times by taking a picture with different angles, also tried to send a scanned PDF… Now I tried so many times that I have reached the maximum number of attempts.
Yet, I succesfully signed another document just a couple of weeks ago.
So what is the issue here?

If the document in question was configured to be signed with Docusign Notary, then the reason behind this issue is that this feature is available for U.S government issued IDs only. For more details on this topic, see:
