Aside from the font size and color, is there a way to change the field’s border and background colors? I do not always want a border and white background. Also, can such modification be done as a default setting or for multiple fields at once?

@CSA - Currently, DocuSign does not provide direct options to change the border and background colors of fields through the standard user interface.
