I started a new doc to sign & found out my name is only my first name. I'm halfway through signing, how can I add my last name to the signature now?:

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

Are you also the sender of the envelope or just a recipient of it?

If you are also the sender you can use the "correct" feature to make the corrections needed, if you are a recipient you will need to contact the sender of the envelope.

If you need to change the name in the signature we offer the option of changing your signature directly in your user profile as well as during a signing session.

You can find detailed steps on how to change your signature on both scenarios, here:

https://support.docusign.com/en/articles/How-do-I-change-my-signature-or-adopt-a-custom-signature-NDSE

It is also important to note that there are a few cases in which you might not have the option to change your signature while signing, you can find them listed below:

You do not have an active DocuSign Account

You are signing using:

  •  DocuSign Mobile Apps
  • In Person Signing Session
  •  Digital Signatures/Universal Signatures (CFR part 11, etc.)
  •  Sign and Return
  •  Sender has locked recipient’s names

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

You can create a case at https://support.docusign.com/en/contactSupport and a Support agent will contact you, If you are not able to open the case on the same page, you should scroll down to More Support Options and select "I can't reset my password or don't have an account." you will have the option of filling out the form or calling Support.
