How to Remove Envelope from "Waiting for Others" After One Party Signed Outside of DocuSign

I sent an envelope that required signatures from several parties. All but one party signed through DocuSign. One party signed outside of DocuSign, and we've already received the signed document. However, the envelope is still showing as "waiting for others" for that party.

What's the best way to get the envelope out of the "waiting for others" status, since we already have the signature? Is there a way to mark that recipient as complete or finalize the envelope without their DocuSign signature?

You can “correct” the document, removing the person who signed outside of DocuSign. Once this person is no long being ‘waited for’ then document should complete.

good luck

I guess you could replace the party who has not signed with either an internal party (who could add initials or something), or maybe even just a copy-to recipient. That would complete the flow.

Formally, the document is not fully executed before the flow is complete. Only then the final document is distributed to the signers and other recipients.

that recipient can use print sign and upload the scan document.

but this is not recommended. all party should compare the print is as same as the document in docusign. it maybe change some words then print and sign.

It is not recommended. that recipient can use print and sign then upload to docusign. then this envelope can complete.

but that recipient can change the words before print. so all recipient needs compare the print documents with the documents in DocuSign.
