How can I change the recipient email address that prepopulates for me?

Sure, you would need to go to:
- Your profile picture/ initials in the top right corner
- Select My Preferences
- Contacts: https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?bundleId=jux1643235969954&topicId=kym1578456321134.html&_LANG=enus
- Select the needed contact and edit
- Save
