I am a pro-se defendant in a lawsuit in a Washington state couinty, but live in New Mexico.

I prepared a pleading, e-signed it with Docusign, only to learn that WA court did not do online filing. So I shipped the e-signed physical papers to a process server in WA for filing in the court. The clerk at first resisted filing the papers due to e-signature, but was reminded that it was her duty, she filed the papers saying that the judge will not like it.

--- Is it acceptable to use e-signed physical papers as "the original document" ?
