Whenever I try to login, there is always an error that says “Error has occurred. Make sure your connection is stable and try again.” but when I tried to login to other machine, it successfully logged in. Do you have any idea how can I fix the error with my machine? They are both connected to the same internet

@taylor13

Do you experience the same error when using a different browser? If not, try clearing your cache and updating the browser that is giving you the error.

Yes, I already tried using different browser. I also cleared the cache and updated the Chrome.

@taylor13

Try these additional troubleshooting steps:

  • Disable Browser Extensions:

    • Sometimes extensions can interfere with login processes.
    • Disable all extensions and try logging in again.
  • Check Date and Time Settings:

    • Make sure your computer’s date and time settings are correct.
    • Sometimes incorrect settings can cause issues with secure connections.
  • Disable Antivirus/Firewall Temporarily:

    • Your antivirus or firewall might be blocking the connection.

    • Temporarily disable them and see if you can log in.

@JohnSantos I have already tried the first two steps but it didn’t work.

I have no access to disable the firewall. :(

Other users with the firewall working can log in.

Hi @taylor13,

Thank you for following up.

The results from the steps provided by @JohnSantos lead me to believe that this is a device, network, or browser specific issue. Please try again using a different network, device and browser to pinpoint the root cause of the error. It is important to try these options separately, as they may lead us to the culprit.

Best regards,

I just ran into this using Chrome on MacOS on great home network. Tried the signing link in an incognito window and it worked properly. I’m guessing docusign cookies issue.
