I had a client complete and sign a document through DocuSign that included some sensitive information (SSN, etc.). When he executed the DocuSign, he received a confirmation e-mail from DocuSign with the completed PDF attached to it. He is now concerned that his information could have been compromised by the PDF being attached to the autogenerated confirmation e-mail that he says “wasn’t sent securely”. Can someone please provide me with a response to the client to reassure him that the sensitive information contained in the attachment was somehow secure?
