Hi - i am being asked by one of the firms that i provide signed documents to for a Blue Signature Panel to show on the certificates as shown here.

i keep telling them that i cannot find it and it doesn't appear on my certificates but they wont accept the documents without it.

anyone got any ideas?

Hello @PeteBrooke

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

I apologize for the inconvenience, I know the importance of having the information displayed as needed. I understand that you want to set the Blue Signature panel with the message Signed and all signatures are valid.

That indication is set on the Adobe PDF Reader program, to confirm, do you have all the trust certificates updated in the Adobe program to include DocuSign?

Hi Christopher

thanks so much for the reply - I don’t tend to use Adobe - as I work mainly through the Apple Preview programme. I take it that the Blue Bar is ONLY in Adobe?

do you have any guide as to how to have all the trust certificates updated in the Adobe program to include DocuSign?

I do have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader as an option and if i really have to provide the blue bar certificate then it would probably be best to have this as an option but i cant see how to link it with my Docusign account.

Thanks

Peter

Hello @PeteBrooke

Thank you for reaching out here in the DocuSign Community.

For reference you can open the PDF, click the Signature Panel button, select the signature with the yellow warning symbol, right-click and select Signature Details, click Show Signers Certificate, select the Root Certificate issued by DocuSign in the Certificate Viewer dialog, go to the Trust tab, and click Add to Trusted Certificates. After trusting the certificate, you will need to re-validate the signatures to get a Green signature bar in Adobe. Standards-Based Signatures - At Least One Signature has Problems
