Question

allow signing 2x - first as delegated followed by assigned signature

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

My documents require a series of signatures for compliance purposes. Occassionally, the CFO will reassign to his delegated signer whose required signature immediately follows the designated signature.

This designated/assigned signer says they are not offered a second opportunity to sign where required.

How can I allow mobile access to signing for this individual who gets assigned as delegated signature, immediately followed by their assigned signature.

They have responded saying they cannot get the second signature placed, even after I resend the document.

Please see attached.

Signing wo redirect is not an issue

Signing w redirect causes issues when CFO asks Director to sign. This should go to Director a second time for his signature where he is assigned. He claims this is not occurring, even when I resend.

Workaround is available but requires redirecting Director’s signature to another email after correcting signing queue.

Please advise what is needed to get redirect to follow proper sequence.

Hello @WSLH,

Thank you for getting back to me and my sincere apologies for the late revert

To clarify, the signing process involves the CFO delegating the Director to sign on their behalf. However, the Director is also a recipient of the document and they do not have the option to sign the second time?

Question, did the CFO set the delegated signer under My Preferences > Add Delegate? Article: Add a Delegate To Sign on Your Behalf

Could you kindly provide a more detailed step-by-step process of what was done when the issue occurred? For example, is there a specific signing order, and is the issue related to signing as a delegate or as part of the recipient?

Could you please send me a private message with the envelope ID, along with the emails of the affected recipients? Locate a Docusign envelope ID

Feel free also to open a support case here and request a callback and screen share.
