Can CLM documents be sent for redlines, then routed to someone else for signature?

Hi!

Asking since signer typically does not review, but moreso redliner works internally, then routes to their signer.

We want to avoid having the redliner return or have the signer ignore especially as DocuSign spam concerns.

Thank you,

Dave Z

Greetings,

It is absolutely possible for the document to be sent for external review to one party and then sent to another for signature (or indeed, as many people as you want to do either action). You can either automate these processes using the “Send for External Review” and “Send for Signature” steps in a workflow, or manually by selecting the document and first selecting “Send>For External Review” in the menu, and then “Send>For Signature” to someone else.  Here’s a little more information from our Support Center:

Thank you, Matt.

Our situation requires the external person to whom we send for redlines to be able to send for signature to their signer if the document is unchanged.

For example, we send a subcontractor a pretty standard document and they typically just review and sign, but we need to offer them the ability to redline; of course redlines go to an admin and signatures go to an executive. Seems a pretty common situation, so hoping there is a way to configure the envelope in that way.

Thanks again,

Dave Z

@Matthew.Farler any other ideas? Seems this is somehow supported, but maybe not.
