I was told that Attachments on web forms would be available in July. Could you give me an ETA?
Hi
Thank you for reaching out here in the Docusign Community.
I understand that you are looking for an ETA for attachments in Web Forms, and I will share more details on the topic.
There is no current timeline for the release of this feature. However, using an attachment field in an eSignature template could be a viable workaround to the issue.
In the meantime, you can let our engineering team know of the need for the feature in the scenario you are facing, the enhancement ticket ID for this feature is WEBFRM-3779.
Your Account team can escalate the ticket so it can be prioritized, if needed. Don’t hesitate in contacting them and referencing ticket ID WEBFRM-3779.
Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance with this.
Thank you for using Docusign, we hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!

Piggy backing on this post. The solution to use “an attachment field in an eSignature template” only works if the attachment field is always visible.
The solution does NOT work if there is a conditional field on the template that enables one attachment field vs another attachment field depending on the selection made on the conditional field. Neither of the two attachment fields is visible once the signer of the Web Form gets to the template section to sign the document.
We are eager to see the Attachment field work in Web Forms as it looks like development has made great progress on this feature based on what we’re seeing in our demo environment.
Thank you,
Alina H.
I was also told by your sales team that your webforms already had this capability which was one of the sole reasons we moved forward with your tool so quickly. Can you please tell me why it’s not, inform me on when it will be possible, and provide me with your “workaround” using step-by-step instructions so we have a short term solution to this VERY large problem with your system’s functionality? How does no one at DocuSign think of ways to fully manage Appendix’s/Files/Images/Documents in 2025?
Hello
Upon checking, we already have an update from June 26, 2025, about Build or Update a Web Form with Attachment Fields you may check.
Note: This functionality is only available in Advanced Web Forms. Advanced Web Forms is sold as a separate add-on to Business Pro or higher Docusign eSignature direct plans. Advanced Web Forms is also included in Docusign IAM plans (Professional and above).
You can create attachment fields for a form independently or from a template containing attachment fields. Once you import the attachment fields, your recipients can upload their documents only through the web form and no longer through the envelope.
Note: The Attachment feature is not available for standalone web forms.
Recipients can only upload one file per attachment field, so you must anticipate the number of attachments they may upload. For example, you import an attachment field for "Lease Agreements". Your users may have multiple lease agreements to upload, so you might manually add attachment fields on the web form.
Note: You can add up to fifteen (15) attachment fields to a form.
To import a template with attachment fields, create the form as usual, and the field will be imported. For information on adding attachment fields manually to a form, see the Add or Edit Properties for a Web Forms Attachment Field topic.
