Are PDF attachments sent through DocuSign encrypted? I am concerned because someone sent me all the documents I signed via DocuSign back to me as attached PDFs, and they contain all my personal data. There was no password to open them.

The PDFs sent via email are not encrypted. The Sender should either exclude attachments from the email or hide or mask the sensitive (PII or FERPA) data included in the PDF.

I see this post is 4 years old.  Has there been any updates?  If the DocuSign email is encrypted, are the pdfs attachments not protected from being intercepted?
