I uploaded a file with Chinese language, but these Chinese character unable to display properly as attached (only happened on DocuSign site). No any issue before upload and after download as the 2nd screenshot 'Normal Sample'.
I suspect there were some missing Font caused this issue.

I'm glad to hear that it worked. There were possibly dynamics that are not supported by DocuSign embedded in the documents and by flattening it out, it just removes those dynamics, however, I couldn't tell exactly which ones would be messing with the font of your documents.
