Is there a way to route a document to a user and let them edit the document before continuing the routing to the next user?

Hello, @Kate.Persons

Welcome to the Docusign Community!

When sending an envelope with a document you can specify an a recipient as Allow to Edit action. This action can only be assigned for an user in your account, it is not permitted for external users.

Using a signing order, that recipient can edit the envelope and upload a new version of the contract (if it was not signed before, signed documents are blocked for changes). He also can add recipients to route the envelope after his corrections (uploaded a new document version).

Let me know if that helps.

Alexandre
