Allow 1st signer to edit message to 2nd signer

I apologize for the inconvenience, I know the importance of having the information displayed as needed. I understand that you want to allow the 1st signer to edit the 2nd signer's email message.

If the first recipient does not have the Allow to edit recipient role, there is no option to achieve this.

However, any feedback that can improve our users’ experience is always more than welcome. 

If you’re a DocuSign Administrator for a corporate plan, you have the additional option of filing your request directly when you’re logged into your account. You’ll be able to click the “Give Feedback” button at the bottom of the screen to submit your idea.

Hi Christopher, in that case, when creating an envelope is it possible to have the recipient “allow to edit” and “has to sign” at the same time? It looks like you can only select one of these options at a time.. I have found a very clunky way to do this by setting the recipient order as follows: Recipient 1 (who is also the 1st signer)  is sent an email with “allow to edit”. At that point, as long as they tick “edit envelope”, they can edit the message to the 2nd signer. Once this has been done a second email is generated to Recipient 1/ 1st signer who can then sign the document and it will be auto-forwarded to the 2nd signer. It’s just a long and clumsy way to do it,
