Hey there! We have a handful of templates with knowledge-based authorization that users frequently fail on and have to try again. When this happens, an email is sent to the general DocuSign inbox that our organizations runs. I’d like it instead to be routed to the team that is working with those customers. Is this possible?

Hello @hmoldovan

Thank you for reaching out, and a warm welcome to the Docusign Community! We are absolutely delighted to have you here and can't wait to share our knowledge with you.

I understand you'd like to create a setting where, if Knowledge-Based Authentication fails for some recipients, an email is sent to a specific distro instead of the general inbox. Rest assured, I am fully committed to helping you with this and will make my best efforts to assist you.

Currently, this particular setting you are looking for is not available. Only the sender receives information about failed KBA or the email address from the Email Archive Configuration; still, in this,  a copy of each Docusign system-generated email sent to a sender or recipient for the account is also sent, which cannot be filtered. I sincerely apologize. However, you have the opportunity to Add Envelope Custody Transfer Rules to automatically move an envelope to a specific user account after it has been sent from the original user account.  This 2nd account would be the new owner of the envelope. You would then configure the email address of that account as a distribution email on your office mail server so the group of folks can all be notified via email. This process would be outside of Docusign scope, and that would be something your IT team can assist with; from the Docusign side, all you would need to do is set up the custody transfer to that distribution email address.

I hope I answered your question. If you found this response helpful, please consider marking it as the 'Best Answer ✅'  by clicking 'Select as Best.'
