Restrict visibility for custom fields?

Hello,

is it possible to restrict the visibility of custom fields to certain users or user groups? Within our company we will use many different custom document fields for certain purposes of our departments. If all users could see all custom fields it would be confusing.

No, this is unfortunately not possible. At this point in time custom fields can only be shared with everyone in the account and not with a specific group. 

Maybe it’s worth thinking about having different Docusign eSignature accounts for the different departments and only create the custom fields required for each department.

unfortunately, this is not the solution I was looking for. We just have one enterprise account. Multiple accounts within our company would not be useful for us.

I think we will continue with the restriction of shared access to these fields.
