On my last Docusign Document, I imported a copy of my real signature rather than using my docusign signature (Dumb idea). The company I am dealing with thinks the signature is “too light and unreadable”

Can I change the signature on that document, and if so, how?

Hello @Dr. B,

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! We appreciate your question and assure you that we are fully committed to providing you with the best service possible.

I understand that you're in a situation where you need to change your signature on a document you signed.

In DocuSign, once you have completed your action or an envelope has been fully completed, the sender and recipient cannot make any changes to that envelope. This includes changing or removing any signatures. The system is designed to maintain the integrity of signed documents, ensuring that once they are completed, they remain unchanged.

If you need to change your signature on a completed envelope, the recommended approach is to contact the sender to create a new envelope. When adopting a signature, You may choose Predefined Style or Draw your Signature or Initials. Here's a comprehensive article Adopt Your Signature

You can also change your signature style or create a signature in your Docusign account if you have one. Here's the article: Change your signature or adopt a custom signature

Let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you!

Best regards,
